Thank you to all that turned up for the short trip to Ramsey.
As usual we were looked after very well with the bacon roll to start the day. The pie and chips afterwards were outstanding. Just worth playing there for that.
Winners on the day
* Nearest the Pin went to Nick Syer, must have been a lucky shot after seeing him off the 1st tee.
* Nearest the Pin in 2 went to Stuart Wren. Must have been putting because I can’t believe his chipping has improved that much.
* Nearest the pin in 3 went to Jonathan Quinn, three great shots with the 3rd over the bunker which stayed on the green. I’ll say no more.
Runner Up was Stuart Wren with a creditable 37 points playing off 11 H/cap. Well done, Stu.
Winner on the day with 39 points Jonathan Quinn, lovely steady round well done Jonathan.
Captains Prize. The return of Mr “I’m too old to play golf” Allchin. Great to see you back Graham and I know Viv will love dusting it for a couple of weeks. Oh what did he get it for, looking for his ball when he had parked his buggy over it.
It was nice to see a good turnout. It means a great deal to the people who put themselves out over the year to see this.
Steve Foster and Graham Allchin are stepping down from being the monthly event’s organisers, we need someone to step in and start arranging our monthly golf days ASAP. If you are interested in getting involved, please get back to me or Steve Tatham.
