Hi All,
Thank you to all who attended Brett Vale. Fairly strong winds made for some interesting shorts especially on the par 3s. Overall a very nice course so extra thank you to Steve Forster for suggesting it, it was worth the little extra time in the car.
I would also like to welcome Adam Clayton our newest EGS member, as you’ll see below made quite a strong duet playing off 22. I’m sure the handicap secretary will be keeping a close eye that.
Winners on the day are as follows:
- Nearest the pin went to Rob Syer – well done good hit into that wind
- Nearest the pin in 2 went to Adam Clayton – well done mate
- Nearest the pin in 3 went to Graham Allchin – well done mate, I am sure we will hear about this for weeks to come
- Runner up with 35 points went to Adam Clayton. – well done mate
- Winner on the day with what ended up being a controversial 39 points after a 2-shot penalty was applied was Paul Jones – slightly less painfully cut you’ll have to give yourself now.
- Full results table & RTD below.
The next event is at Haverhill on the 12/09, hope to see there.
Cheers,
Nick S
