Ladies and Gentlemen,
On a June morning we visited an old favourite,3 months later than usual with no frost, ice, snow or rain. A great course and good value for money, hopefully one we can re-visit.
Some excellent golf was played with half the field scoring 32 plus points, but not good enough by far guys, we need to up our game. !!!! Babs scored a majestic 41 points with a blob at the last. (Hope you weren’t protecting your handicap Mrs)
Runner up on the day was Steve Peck with 38 points.
Babs continued with a her haul of prizes winning the nearest the at the 12th (the only player to hit the green.) Come on guys, sharpen up .
Kev Ashton won the longest drive with a fairway splitting shot.(not bad considering a hour or so early he couldn’t leave the loo, enough said )
Paul Field won the nearest the pin in two.
Well done to you all.
